He Knows

God’s mercy is indescribable, and His tolerance so merciful.
He loves our innocence, and understands our current level of maturity.
Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord
has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself
knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.
PSALM 103:13-14

Your Best

It’s not your job to do life perfectly. But you can do your best
to love the Lord well through it all.
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
COLOSSIANS3:17

Pray

Jesus is constantly interceding for us before the throne of our Father.
We can follow suit and pray for others.
Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission
to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith
may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again,
strengthen your brothers.
LUKE22:31-32

Don’t Worry

Today’s Scripture

“But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem!”

Acts 9:13, NLT

It’s Already Taken Care Of

In the Scripture, when God told Ananias to go pray for Saul, Ananias didn’t want to go. Saul was the biggest persecutor of the church. But Ananias didn’t know that Saul’s life had been changed on the road to Damascus. He was worried and started telling God all the reasons why he shouldn’t go. He didn’t realize that God had already taken care of what worried him. When he went and prayed for Saul, instead of finding an enemy, he found an ally.

Some of the things we worry about, God has already changed. He’s already set the miracle into motion. He’s already spoken to the right people, lined up the healing or breakthrough. It’s just a matter of time before you experience it. There’s no reason to be worried over that situation at work or that negative medical report. The threat has already been taken care of, and the solution is en route. Stay in peace, and as Ananias did, you’ll come into what God has already done. Don’t let worry rob you.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are in control of all the situations in my life, and You are always working behind the scenes. Thank You that I don’t need to understand everything along the way, and that I can simply trust You. I’m not going to live worried, upset, or discouraged. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Waiting

It can be so hard to wait. Never mind the waiting room
long lines of traffic, or a much anticipated letter in the mail.
When the waiting we’re doing is on God, it can seem like forever!
And how do we handle it when the answer is one we didn’t want?
Well, think about this. An answer from God means that the God
of the universe is in relationship with us! He cares enough to hear
our hearts and respond. What a beautiful thing–God’s
“‘no”
may be a no, but it still shows His closeness and love.
The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.
PROVERBS 16:9

Encountering God

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.: We cannot pursue life’s ultimate purpose until we realize God created us to discover and declare His glory 1 Cor. 31 So, whether you eat or drink, or uwhatever you do, do all to the glory of God. To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue. All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. … In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps. ❤️🙏🏽🙌🏾

Fill Me

Fill Me With the Spirit Today

Dear Lord, as we rise to meet each new day, please let us be filled with Your spirit. Wherever we go, let us spread love, joy, peace, goodness, and faithfulness. Let us desire to become more like you and to worship you in all we do. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices us. Thank you for always going before us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. – Dr. Charles Stanley

Check Your Heart

Issue Of The Heart

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. … The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

Matthew 12:35

God is Good

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for reminding me that true joy can be found by having you in my life. Forgive me for letting the struggles of this world steal my joy. I come into your presence today, ready to experience more joy.

Psalm 23:6 reminds me that “your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life…” Thank you for this promise. With your goodness and love right beside me, I can always find reasons to be joyful. Lord, as I see others who are hurting, help me reach out and share the renewed joy I’ve found in you.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
