Psalms 119:33Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.How I long for your precepts! Peace

In Philippians 4:7 we have a wonderful promise: “The peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” It is important to note the context of this promise, because that’s where we find the condition: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (verse 6). God’s peace is promised to guard those who pray—with thanksgiving—about everything. This peace will transcend our ability to understand it.
