“Seeing the people, He (Jesus) felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.” Matt. 9:36

Lord, help me to see the people you place in my path like Jesus saw them: as sheep in need of a Shepherd. Thank you Lord, for being the Shepherd they need and for empowering me with your Spirit to share Jesus with them. Lord, give me opportunities to share with people this week out of a heart of compassion for their spiritual need.

We are not perfect, nor does God expect us to be.

Becoming a Proverbs 31woman means working hard to become a woman who honors God. … Remember that you are worthy of God’s grace. Wake up early and start the day with God. Pray every day and praise our Lord.

The Word for today…..

As we turn to you Lord we choose to place our trust in You.

If “… the kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord,” (Psalm 2:2) we trust in You.

If “… the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging,” (Psalm 46:2-3) we trust in You.

Though “… nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall …” (Psalm 46:6) we trust in You. When “… the wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright…” (Psalm 37:14) we trust in You.

We trust You. We trust You! …

God is good All the time.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all yoursoul and with all your mind and with all your strength. ‘ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ‘ There is no commandment greater than these”, He says. … I am the Lord.”
