It’s time to shine

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

To live according to God’s Word is not as simplistic as rehearsing or reciting what Scripture says. Instead, to live by God’s Word means to design your life in a way that reflects His teachings. God wants us to live so in tune with Scripture that we think about what He teaches throughout the day. If we call ourselves believers in Christianity, then we should understand what our religious text, the Bible, says about our faith. The more versed we are in the Bible, the more we can become like Jesus. The more like Jesus we are, the more God can call us to His purpose. Not only will we be redeemed, but we can help God redeem others.

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Behind the scenes

I decree and declare..

Healty thoughts 💭 God thoughts 💭 for those who are struggling to be positive💭 We can sometimes get to a point in life where nothing seems to be going right, things seem impossible and nothing seems to be in our favor, when at first things seemed to be going really good. Well, that’s not always the case, sometimes God has an unseen plan that we don’t seem to see 👀 God doesn’t show us everything. The Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. Just because at times we’re unhappy with how things are going, doesn’t mean that we are headed down hill. It could just mean that GOD is working behind the scenes. We can’t base our lives on what we see 👀 but instead we should pray for God to help us to keep that hope that we had before things seemed to spiral. FAITH has substance, and then it pleases GOD when we are hopeful, it gets his attention. We shouldn’t worry about what we’re seeing, but just know that God is behind the scenes working on something great, we just have to keep the faith.

Need A Word

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. – Psalm 107:8-9

Are you thirsty for a fresh word from the Lord? Spend a spare moment today reading the Bible. There are thousands of words of encouragement there to satisfy your soul, calm your mind and give your heart hope and healing.

Are you hungry for wisdom and truth in your life? Seek for it in the pages of scripture. Everything we need is written down for us between the covers.

Are you stressed? Worried? Depressed? All alone? We can find help for all these things and so much more as we eagerly seek the scriptures for the answers that we desperately need!

The Lord loves us with His unfailing love! That means it never stops, never diminishes in strength and is for us each and every day, and in each and every situation that we experience!

He Knows

God’s mercy is indescribable, and His tolerance so merciful.
He loves our innocence, and understands our current level of maturity.
Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord
has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself
knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.
PSALM 103:13-14

Pray

Jesus is constantly interceding for us before the throne of our Father.
We can follow suit and pray for others.
Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission
to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith
may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again,
strengthen your brothers.
LUKE22:31-32

Don’t Worry

Today’s Scripture

“But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem!”

Acts 9:13, NLT

It’s Already Taken Care Of

In the Scripture, when God told Ananias to go pray for Saul, Ananias didn’t want to go. Saul was the biggest persecutor of the church. But Ananias didn’t know that Saul’s life had been changed on the road to Damascus. He was worried and started telling God all the reasons why he shouldn’t go. He didn’t realize that God had already taken care of what worried him. When he went and prayed for Saul, instead of finding an enemy, he found an ally.

Some of the things we worry about, God has already changed. He’s already set the miracle into motion. He’s already spoken to the right people, lined up the healing or breakthrough. It’s just a matter of time before you experience it. There’s no reason to be worried over that situation at work or that negative medical report. The threat has already been taken care of, and the solution is en route. Stay in peace, and as Ananias did, you’ll come into what God has already done. Don’t let worry rob you.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are in control of all the situations in my life, and You are always working behind the scenes. Thank You that I don’t need to understand everything along the way, and that I can simply trust You. I’m not going to live worried, upset, or discouraged. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Waiting

It can be so hard to wait. Never mind the waiting room
long lines of traffic, or a much anticipated letter in the mail.
When the waiting we’re doing is on God, it can seem like forever!
And how do we handle it when the answer is one we didn’t want?
Well, think about this. An answer from God means that the God
of the universe is in relationship with us! He cares enough to hear
our hearts and respond. What a beautiful thing–God’s
“‘no”
may be a no, but it still shows His closeness and love.
The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.
