New in Christ

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. The joy of the lord is your strength. In his presence there’s fullness of joy.
When God looks at you, He sees that whatever might have been wrong in your life before you were born again is now passed away.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Psalm 16:11

Praying for your enemie. We are living in a very divisive time with many who are filled with hate. We have to remember we are not fighting against flesh & blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.A Prayer for Your EnemiesLord Jesus, following Your example and command, we pray for our enemies today. We ask first that You would saturate our lives with the Holy Spirit’s power and might. Send Your love flowing through us, and forgive us for holding on to anything that could hinder our prayers. We release any unforgiveness, thoughts of revenge, or hateful emotions that can quench Your Spirit in our hearts. Then give us wisdom as we seek how to bless, to love, and to pray for our enemies. We pray for you to bless our enemies and to orchestrate events in their lives that will leave their hearts exposed before you. As You characterized blessing in the Beatitudes, we pray that You would give them a poverty of spirit that recognizes their deep need for You. We pray they will discover Your comfort in times of mourning, and they would be humbled before You—in Your way and Your time. We pray You would show them mercy before it is too late—knowing we were all God’s enemies before You extended mercy to us—and that they would, in turn, be merciful to others.Lord, we pray that instead of lusting for pure evil, they would hunger and thirst for Your purity and righteousness, become advocates of Your justice and that their warring spirits would be changed into peacemaking. Remove the façade of well-being; tear down the lies that have deceived them; and hedge their ways until they can see no way out but up. We pray You would show them the futility of what they are doing because in opposing God’s kingdom and in their darkness, they are often oblivious about the true reasons for their behavior and resulting consequences. Reveal to them any deep hurts or traumas in their own lives that may be contributing to their destructive actions.Knowing how you sometimes use pain and difficulty to bring blessing to our lives, we pray the same for our enemies. Use whatever means You need to soften stony hearts, open blind eyes, and to help them realize their ultimate neediness for You. If necessary, allow persecution in their own lives so they can experience Your blessing. Speak to them in miraculous, supernatural ways if necessary, through a dream, a movie, another believer, Your Word—or even through our own lives if we are ever confronted. In some way, let them witness Your power and recognize that You are the source. We pray for conviction, for an honest evaluation of their own destiny, and for a sense of desperation if that’s what it takes for them to consider Your claims and to discover Who You really are. Pursue them, even allowing goodness to lead them to repentance. And give us patience and a deep trust in You, Lord, even when we can’t see any change in our enemies. When we waver, not wanting to pray for our enemies, help us to remember Your grace in our own lives, and what we would be without You.prayer written by Rebecca Jordan. I love it!❤️

Pray for your enemies.

Remain in Christ

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in mea and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:4-7

The Signs

The signs of the times many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. No man no the day or the hour, but I pray that you be mindful of the time and season that we are in. Be watchful, prayful and prepare by reading the word of God. Jesus said, see that no one lead you astray. Jesus Loves You.

God is watching

Dear Family and Friends,

In light of all that’s has transpired in the past couple of days, Pastor Bruce and I want to take a few minutes to encourage you today.

If you look at things completely in the natural you will have the opportunity to become discouraged. But remember what Jesus said in Matthew 24, as He was answering the disciples questions regarding what signs would they see indicating that they were experiencing the “last days”. So, Jesus begins to tell them, and the first thing He lists in verse 4 is deception. “At that time deception will run rampant. So beware that you are not fooled!” There’s a lot meaning in that word “deceive/deception”. It tells us there will be a mass divergence or separation from Biblical standards on a world-wide scale and that we would see moral confusion in society as deception attempts to engulf humanity with misinformation about what is morally right. This explains the scripture, “Good becomes evil and evil becomes good.”

We can see the spirit of this world and the anti-christ spirit is working furiously to eliminate all remnants of a godly foundation from society and to replace it with deception that will ultimately usher in a time when the anti-christ rules. In II Thessalonians 2:11, Paul writes that at the conclusion of this period, a vast percentage of the populated world would be controlled by delusion.

Now more than ever is the time for the church to rise up with boldness, courage and walk in obedience and truth. Those are the words the Lord spoke to me on December 9th. We simply cannot be moved to fear, cowardice or terror by what is going on or being said. It’s time to believe totally and completely what God says in His Word. It’s time that we completely trust, rely and hang on tightly to His Word. The Father makes it clear how we position ourselves when we face any enemy: Deuteronomy 31:6 & 8 AMPC “Be strong, courageous and firm; Fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.”

“It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will march with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; Let there be no cowardice or flinching, but fear not, neither become broken in spirit, depressed, dismayed and unnerved with alarm.”

Jesus is looking for His Body in the earth to stand strong, firm, courageous, resolute and unmoved in the face of what is going on in the world. There is a great harvest of people that need to come into the Kingdom of God before Jesus comes to rapture the church. God gives us His power, ability, efficiency and might to live in an ungodly world and still be victorious. Acts 1:8. The Holy Spirit lives in you and we must tap into His ability in order to get through each day. Also, in Matthew 16 Jesus promises us that He is building the Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church.

Isaiah 41:10 AMPC “Fear not, there is nothing to fear, for I am with you; Do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; Yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My victorious right hand of rightness and justice.”

We must remember that God always provided and protected His people who were obedient to Him…even when they were in the wilderness! God has always been with His people during challenging times throughout the Bible and in all of history because God is faithful to those who keep His Word! As we continue to move into 2021 let’s take hold together with God and His Word and be determined to see people saved, healed and set free and to see restoration, reformation, breakthrough and victory.

We love you very much,
Pastor Sheila and Pastor Bruce
